A Little Powertech Uranium With Your Coffee?

Another couple of sites to explore.  The first is some basic information on the company from the Canadians.  The second gets a little more interesting.  It is a site dedicating to uranium investment.

I'll comment more after I get the opportunity to go through the site.

Addendum 1: My first thought is strategic and a national security argument. I thought the general strategic direction for the United States is to develop its own energy sources with less international outsourcing.

(See the article linked to on the investment site below about political risk in uranium investment) Yes, I know that Canada is our #1 trading partner and unlikely to cause issues on this scale until the polar ice melts and we get in battles over control of the shipping lanes at the top of the world. But still where will any excess market product call home? Will be adding to our stockpiles or Canada's? What is Canadian policy on international trading? There must be policies somewhere governing all this political stuff but it makes me convinced that the local politicians are either selling the public short on their decision-making analysis or they didn't look into the whole big picture.
Powertech Uranium Corp. Profile on Uranium Investment News
Overview

Powertech Uranium Corp. is a mineral exploration and development company that was formed to develop low cost uranium properties with the shortest lead time to production. The company is targeting North America and focusing on projects amenable to In-Situ Recovery (ISR) mining methods. The company presently holds the Dewey Burdock uranium deposit in South Dakota and the Centennial project in Colorado, two advanced stage projects with NI 43-101 compliant inferred uranium resources totaling more than 17 million pounds of U3O8. Powertech has two advanced exploration projects in Wyoming known as Dewey Terrace and Aladdin. Both projects have known uranium mineralization as defined by previous and current drilling and have significant exploration potential. Powertech also holds numerous exploration prospects throughout the Western United States.
